We are forecasting growth as the Energy Storage Systems market develops & the technology demands continue to change in the automotive market to include vehicle electrification. As a member of our HR staff and the broader HR team, you will provide support for a broad scope of HR services and utilize our HR Centers of Expertise to enable the success of the clients you service. While this is a true hands-on generalist role, there is a strong emphasis on employee relations, workplace culture, talent planning and process improvements. Pivotal to your success in a growth environment is your ability to partner with members of the groups that you service, articulate HR objectives that align with overall functional and business objectives, and influence others to embrace what we need to do and relentlessly drive commitments to completion.
You won't be afraid to ask the hard questions: How are we assessing and development talent? What can we do to create a more productive and engaged work force? And, you will support processes, policies, procedures and best practices that will enable our growth and align with the culture that we want to create. Consequently, relationship building and influencing skills are at the heart of this role along with continually developing functional HR expertise and a demonstrated ability to work independently.
What Else You'll Bring to the Table
In addition to the qualifications detailed above, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in an HR discipline preferred and a Masters is a plus.
- PHR or comparable certification is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in HR is preferred.
- General knowledge of HR functional areas and knowledge of federal and state employment laws, including AAP compliance requirements.
- Assertive leadership qualities.
- The ability foster and maintain relationships with employees at all levels within the organization and to include the ability to persuade others into action through formulation of relationships.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task on assignments and be comfortable with change and continuous improvement.
- Sound judgment and the ability to develop and articulate policies and procedures.
- A strong sense of ethics and values.
- Strong analytic and diagnostic skills
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Good follow-up and time management skills
- Strong computer skills (MS office) and HRIS a plus.

Position Specifics
Reporting to Human Resource Manager, you will join a team that is geographically dispersed worldwide.
As you come on board, we will expect you to quickly gain a thorough understanding of our people, products, processes and systems to begin making a real impact.
Specifically, your responsibilities will be to:
- Ensure assimilation of new staff in our Concord, NC facility in order to accelerate integration into the organization.
- Evaluate where we have gaps in our current employment processes and supporting continuous improvements, including DDI's behavioral based interviewing techniques and other targeted selection methodologies, to allow us to acquire and retain top-notch talent.
- Supporting initiatives that drive employee engagement.
- Collaborate with members of the HR team to ensure a smooth transition to a Centers of Expertise model across the client groups serviced and to ensure that the implementation takes hold.
- Create and implement HR policies, processes and procedures that align with organizational needs and position the organization to maintain a positive employee relations climate.
- Ensure timely full-cycle business processes, to include but not limited to performance management, salary and incentive administration and people planning activities.
- Coach and counsel employees on HR policies and procedures.
